Why The Custom Fee?

I make all items in small batches to save time and cost. Custom orders, no matter how simple, require me to pause all other work in the shop and craft your piece individually from scratch. This fee helps cover the added time and keeps my U.S.-based leather business sustainable, while also offering my customers a more personalized product.

Change Wallet Chain Connection Location

Your wallet will be custom cut and made from scratch with the new chain location noted in your order. I can only attach chains to existing rivets or snaps located along the edge, and they must have at least two layers of leather in that spot, three is preferred for longevity. Imagine how you will use the wallet, which pocket it will sit in and where your ideal location would be for the chain.

Change Wallet Hardware to Golden

Some wallets currently have the option for the rivets and snaps to have the brass 'golden' finish. For those wallets that do not, you can make the request here. All hardware that can be changed to golden on the wallet, will be. The only exceptions are the interior parts of snaps which remain in a nickel finish and separately on zip wallets, the zipper itself remains the same. Change Location of Personalization on Wallets

On most items the personalization is located just above the pre-stamped numbers. I can change the location, however this requires making your wallet from scratch as well.

Increase Branded Personalization Up To 10 Characters

When branding a wallet or accessory there is a 6 character limit due to the complexity of fitting longer text in the machine and aligning it to the wallet. This option allows you to fit up to 10 characters, but keep in mind that the overall look may be slightly skewed/tilted due to the challenge of aligning a super-heated branding tool. This fee is in addition to the Branded fee you pay when selecting your wallet. So please enter what you can in the wallet page first.

Retrofit a Previously Purchased Wallet With a Chain

If you already own a Mr. Lentz Wallet and would like it fitted with a chain you can select this option, as well as ordering the chain of your choice here. You will then need to ship your wallet back in to the workshop.

Make a Wallet or Wallet Color That Has Been Discontinued

Some wallets do not have options for specific colors. I am still able to make these in those color options, but they will need to be made from scratch.

Install Extra Rivet onto Wallet Edge

While typically not necessary, some customers request an extra rivet placed in between current rivets on the wallet.

Shorten Cuff Length

All wrist cuffs are cut to a standard size listed on the product page. I can make one in a shorter length by selecting this option.

Change Dimensions of Wallet
